Family History

The history of our family goes more then 250 years
back in time. Our ancestors came from the city of
Ibbenbüren, Germany. Nowadays you can find people
who are named Poiesz all over the World. In the genealogy

250 years of family history are written in a book that was
presented on the second Poiesz Reunion in the city of Sneek.
The book is not available anymore, because it was printed on
request, but you can still find an edition in the Fisherman
museum of Sneek.
